How Loyalty Card Stamps Work

Operating a business of any kind these days can be difficult. There are a number of different things that can contribute to the success or failure of a business. Obviously, good products, prices, and service are vital. But beyond that, a good website, advertising, location, and more all combine to improve your profits. One great way to help boost your customer base, especially if you operate a restaurant or pub, is to utilise loyalty card stamps. Used in conjunction with customer loyalty cards, these stamps can help to boost your sales significantly and with a very low investment of money and time.

The methods for using loyalty stamps effectively are fairly simple. First, you'll need to get the cards and stamps. A number of companies offer loyalty card printing, and in many cases you can simply utilize their templates to print off your own cards quickly. Be sure to order unique stamps that can't be easily replicated. Now you'll need to decide upon a reward. If you're a pub, this may be a free pint or pitcher, or a free basket of chips. In the case of restaurant loyalty cards, maybe a free appetiser or even a lunch entrée is in order.

Now set the reward stipulations for your pub or restaurant loyalty plan. Start with a qualifying purchase. This could be an overall sale amount, such as spending fifteen pounds on a meal. Or it could be as simple as ordering a single sandwich. Finally, set the number of transactions needed to earn the award, which most businesses set as ten. For each purchase, you'll use your loyalty card stamps to mark the card. Once that the card reaches the set number of stamps, the customer can exchange it for their reward and a brand new card.

For example, your program will be similar to this. Buy ten lunch or dinner entrees and receive a free lunch entrée. Or, complete fifteen purchases of ten pounds or more and earn a free appetizer. These are only a pair of examples, and you can use your pub or restaurant loyalty card to offer any number of rewards for a wide variety of purchases. The choice is really up to you, but the basic principal will remain the same. Customers will get to enjoy the benefits of free items, and you'll see your business increase as more customers return each day to work towards their free item. It's a win-win scenario, and easy to understand why so many major businesses use loyalty stamps as part of their business model.
